| Abstract: | With the development of fresh e-commerce, enterprises pay more attention to the sales and freshness-keeping decisions of fresh products. This paper studies the sales mode and freshness-keeping strategy of a fresh product supply chain, where supplier S enters fresh e-commerce E through reselling or agency selling mode, and the product owner decides to adopt self-freshness-keeping strategy or introduce a third-party freshness-keeping service provider (3PF). Assuming that the supplier chooses sales mode and the product owner decides freshness-keeping strategy, four market structures are formed. We find that the agency selling mode brings higher revenue to supplier and 3PF. In addition, whatever sales mode is adopted, the self-freshness-keeping strategy is dominant strategy. Finally, different strategy choices have a significant impact on members' decision-making: the products under agency selling mode are cheaper and fresher; The product owner offers cheaper products under the self-freshness-keeping strategy, and offers fresher products under another strategy.
