| Abstract: | A numerical method is proposed for solving linear viscoelasticity equations with Rabotnov-type operators. A mathematical model that takes into account the memory of the material is constructed by applying the Volterra principle and fractional integro-differentiation. An algorithm based on grid-characteristic methods and separation of variables is developed. The approach is applied to inhomogeneous media of various types, including layered composites.
