Abstract: The article presents the reply of V. Convertito and A. Herrero to comments made on their article "Influence of Focal Mechanism in Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis." The authors agree with the assertion that the method proposed by them is not appropriate to style-of-faulting correction because it is not the scope of their article. The authors speak of focal mechanism intended as radiation pattern. Another argument of the authors is that a method based on regression is better than the method the authors propose.
