Abstract: The article reports on a method to measure the relative diffusion coefficient of a pair of small molecules at the nanometer scale using standard spectrometers and magnetic resonance imaging and microscopy instruments. The authors point out that unrestricted translational diffusion coefficient of molecules in a liquid provide information about organization of their immediate environment.
