Abstract: Deductive database systems provide the merging of the capabilities of database systems, including the efficient handling of large amounts of data, concurrency, security, and recovery, with logic-based reasoning systems in terms of deductive rules. In this paper an attempt is made to incorporate the artificial intelligence techniques into an object-oriented database. The classes hierarchy and implementation of an ordered linear resolution theorem prover are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
