Abstract: The article focuses on image processing for teleconsultation in pathology. The quality of image can play a vital role in the quality of remote consultation in pathology. The use of computers in clinical practices has led the way for digital microscopy that represents a synthesis between routine methods of microscopy and digital image processing. The image compression of over 1-4 produced an unacceptable deterioration in quality of image.
