Abstract: The article focuses on the use of messaging within computer applications that consist of distributed systems. The author describes how computer applications are programed to consist of requests and responses. In systems that involve multiple components, a more complicated program is necessary, according to the author. The article describes the messaging systems that are used to program distributed systems. Conversations between systems need to be designed to exchange messages in a certain pattern, according to the article. Also, message identification numbers are useful in tracking down problems.
