Abstract: The article focuses on the design of AnySpot, a Web-service-based platform for mobile computing. Users can connect to their personal or shared documents because AnySpot's platform features personalized access, seamless sharing, portable and embedded interfaces, and integrated network services. The AnySpot architecture can be implemented without adding new storage systems, operating systems, or client interfaces.
