| Abstract: | The article focuses on the rebanding of the 800 MGHz radio systems in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The reconfiguration shows complexity of public-safety as almost all agencies particularly the Miwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) use the system and it may interrupt its operations during the reconfiguration. In addition, the production of equipment for the plan requires 18 to 24 months which does not fit the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) desired planning and reconfiguration planning. |
