Abstract: The article focuses on U.S. independent telecommunication companies that introduce their own Internet protocol television (IPTV) services for the benefit of producing their own television programs. Farmer's Mutual Cooperative Telephone Co. discovered that local programs have increased its investment by about $2,000. The content business of Ellijay Telephone Co. (ETC) has grown after building a television studio that produces commercial spots for local advertisers.
