Abstract: The article focuses on the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in the U.S. The provisions of the CPSIA are discussed with clarifications on two items in a preliminary Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Question and Answer document. The three sets of proposals from the CPSC are presented along with the challenges of compliance.
