| Abstract: | Message Queue of system is used by thousands of customers in every major industry in many countries around the world. Message queuing is method of program-to-program communication. Programs within an application communicate by writing and retrieving application-specific data (message) to/from queues, without having private, dedicated, logical connection to link them. Therefore, we developed a distributed console program, called DConsole, that uses Message Queue as communication module for data transaction in industrial environment, with functions as manage, monitor and control industrial and network devices via serial port. We designed Module DConsole Server and DConsole Client, and they exchanged data via Message Queue. DConsole Server module connected devices through serial port. Using this program, user can send controlling commands to devices and receive replying information from them. Depending upon the requirement of a system, user can configure and explore on or many DConsole Client control windows. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
