| Abstract: | The article investigates the decarburization in spring steel production procedures. The experiment reveal that the decarburized depth is strongly growing with longer holding time and increased temperature. The influence of the austenite to ferrite transformation becomes significant at lower temperatures and must be taken into consideration. |
