| Abstract: | The article offers a guide for constructing a tower of a magic knight's tour on a chessboard, in which all its pillars sum up to the same number known as the magic constant. It is believed that the tour by al-Adli ar-Rumi in the year 840 is the earliest known knight's tour. According to the author, the height of a magic tower must be an even number and at least four. It adds that the smallest base size of such tower is 2x3, and its magic constant is 50. |
