Abstract: An introduction to the journal is presented in which the editor discusses various reports such as one by Roger T. Alexander, Jeff Offutt and Andreas Stefik on analyzing problems that can arise when using inheritance and polymorphism and another by Jane Huffman Hayes and Jeff Offutt which presents an analysis technique that can help identify which programmer wrote a particular piece of software.
