| Abstract: |
The article presents a study on the use of hyperpolarized pyruvate and C magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging in detecting treatment response in rat C6 glioma tumor model to radiotherapy. It states that C chemical shift images that acquired following intravenous injection of hyperpolarized pyruvate into rats with implanted C6 gliomas showed labeling of lactate within the tumors. It mentions that the ratio of hyperpolarized 13C label in tumor lactate was decreased. |
