Abstract: The article discusses the significance of using feature extraction (FE) tools in analyzing the information of audio and video materials. It cites the case of the public service broadcaster, Vlaamse Radio en Televiemroep (VRT), which has encountered various challenges in using filed-based production workflows, however, its operation was improved when it started using FE tools. It also provides steps on how to integrate FE tools with other architectural solution to ensure effective results.
