Abstract: The article presents the development of an Object-Subscription Protocol (OSP) server, which will bridge isolated virtual communities. It says that OSP publishes data content from various categories that will then be obtained by the client as an OSP object in XML format. It says that OSP allows secure transmission and delivery of content and messages. Moreover, OSP applications including cross-site collaboration, cross-blog searching, and electronic magazine publication are also discussed.
