Abstract: The article focuses on the development program of for the 2013 Lexus GS automobile from Lexus. Details of the level set up by chief engineer Yoshihiko Kanamori and Akio Toyoda, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Toyota Motor Corp., for the development program are reported. Engineering improvements carried out on the fourth generation Lexus are discussed.
