| Abstract: | The article presents the author's insights on the production of acoustic signals in animals. The author highlights the study conducted by J. J. Gu and colleagues on the behavior and musical ability of an extinct Middle Jurassic katydid named Archaboilus musicus. Moreover, the author offers critical analysis on the fossil behavior of katydid using its well-preserved fossil wings from Chinese sediments. |
