Abstract: The article focuses on self-healing coatings that repair scratches, independently lengthening the time between maintenance and delaying onset of corrosion. An experimental study is presented which includes the reagents used, microcapsule synthesis and electroless deposition. Results of the experiment are discussed including its microcapsule size, primer formulation and primer panel test and evaluation.
