Abstract (English): The present article describes the design and implementation of RACK and describes an example of an autonomous mobile robot based on this framework. This paper presents a brief description of the prototype hydroelectric generation system located at the University of Valle. The goal of the work is oriented to automatize each one of the stages involved in its operation. The selection of the variables, instruments and control equipment required for the automation of the system regarding remote operation is also presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): En este artículo se presenta una descripción detallada del sistema de generación de energía hidroeléctrica de la Universidad del Valle, donde se identifican cada uno de los subsistemas, se definen las variables pertenecientes a éstos, las etapas de funcionamiento y por último se muestra el desarrollo de toda la instrumentación utilizada y la automatización empleada para poder operar este sistema de forma remota vía Web.
