Abstract: The article discusses the highlights of the 12th International Conference of the International Society for Knowledge Management (ISKO) held in Mysore, India from August 6-9, 2012. The theme of the conference was categories, contexts and relations in knowledge organization, and its opening and closing sessions were devoted to introspection about the direction of the domain of knowledge organization. Substantial numbers of regional attendees were recorded at the event.
