Abstract: The article focuses on the use of baby oil as a liquid cooling system to improve the energy efficiency of high-performance computing (HPC). It says that liquid cooling was first used in heat generation by Seymour Cray when he was designing the Cray 2 supercomputer. According to Iceotope business development manager Richard Barrington, they use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to harvest the heat from microchips rather than turning to waste products.
