Abstract: An interview with Hadi Partovi, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of programming video creator Code.org, is presented. He discusses how he started computer programming, his first program and his first real computer. He relates his experience in teaching computer science at universities in Iran. When asked who inspired him to do computer programming with Code.org, he refers to singer Bono and Steve Jobs, inventor and co-founder and former chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of consumer electronics company Apple Inc.
