Abstract: The article provides insights on planning and creating effective information graphics. One should have knowledge of several tools needed in creating information graphics, including Evernote or Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel. A description of some data visualizations is presented, such as bar charts, scatter plots and Venn diagrams. Also provided are the ethical considerations in creating information graphics.
