Abstract: Highlights: [•] La0.85Sr0.15Cr0.8Ni0.2O3−δ (LSCN) anodes were promoted through Ni infiltration. [•] Ni infiltration allowed strongly diminishing the low-frequency impedance. [•] Ni dispersion is very high on LSCN grain, in the form of metallic nanoparticles. [•] The low anode resistance of 0.47Ωcm2 at 700°C is enough for practical operation of PC-SOFC.
