Abstract: The article discusses the trend presetters on machine tool presetters with the ability to reduce human errors and increase precision. The difference of Swiss-type screw machines from other others are described. The need for machine operators to factor in offset information input time with a presetter measuring the tools for turning machines is explained. Reasons for presetters to make big changes, adaptations and additions are also explained.
