Abstract: The article discusses the problem of converting tens of thousands of files of legacy format content. Topics discussed include the use of Q2ID software specifically created to convert QuarkXpress documents to Adobe InDesign format and the use of AppleScript in changing the page layout to single pages and applied the rounded ends to all callout and lines and how automation can always save more than time and money as there are many ways of automating the process.
