Abstract: The article highlights custom solutions and automation as among the needs that will be addressed at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). According to Glynn Fletcher of milling solutions provider GF Machining Solutions, they will be connecting a high-speed milling machine with the electrical discharge machining (EDM) machine. Machine tools manufacturer Methods Machine Tools Inc. will be showing wire EDM capabilities which permits for smoother finishes and straighter walls.
