| Abstract: |
The article discusses the use of mobile technology in education. According to the author, educators often overemphasize the method of delivery and place inadequate focus on learning goals. Particular focus is given to the results of the Speak Up surveys on mobile technology by the nonprofit organization Project Tomorrow. It is suggested that students view mobile devices as tools and prefer to use their own devices in the classroom. Topics include informal learning and active learning. |
