Abstract: The article discusses an integrated feminist-trauma framework to enhance the efficacy of Master of Social Work (MSW) students in working with trauma, violence, and oppression, and examines the status of feminist theory and trauma interventions in Canadian social work education. Topics discussed include posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), history and evolution of trauma and feminist theories, and need to consider role of systemic and institutional oppression to integrate feminist perspectives.
