| Abstract: | The article focuses on identifying hearing loss and managing its effect on literacy learning. Topics discussed include action steps teachers can take to support students with minimal hearing loss include teachers can work to ensure students have had recent hearing screenings, audiologist can make any recommendations for hearing aids, increase learning experience by reducing the background noise, increase clarity of teacher voice and using a frequency modulation (FM) system. |
