| Abstract: | The article offers the author's view on the response of the U.S Politicians over the $15 salary increase demanded by the low-wage employees in the U.S. The author states that prominent liberal economists insisted that $15 was too much and could curtail the employment in low-wage industry. The author notes that U.S Politician Hillary Clinton called a $12 dollar minimum wage and insisted that a $15 increase would be too dramatic. The author mentions that politics cannot be about consensus but conflict. |
