Abstract: The article discusses the Artists' Book Conference, titled "Cultural Bricolage: Artist Books of Cuba's Ediciones Vigía," which was held at the Museum of Art and Archaeology on the campus of the University of Missouri in November 2012. Particular focus is given to the challenges present when a museum launches a new cycle of programming. Additional topics include how Ediciones Vigía press was founded in 1985, museum programming for children that corresponded to the conference and an exhibition based on the event.
