Abstract (English): The accounting helps to make managerial decision during the planning and control process of administrative operations. It uses the support statistics to organize the making of administrative decisions. The roll of this science within accounting stands out the value of the Statistics subject, especially the conscious assimilation of concepts, in the training of technicians in this specialty in the polytechnic school Frank País Garcia located in Guane Municipality. Starting from the previous point, we proceeded with the study of conscious assimilation during the training of accounting technicians. In the study were taken into account different fields like: the curriculum, the teachers and the students. Once we defined the main constructs, we proceed to use a sequential mixed methodology that allowed the capture and processing of empirical information. On the previously mentioned methodology were first applied the quantitative methods followed by the base of results obtained. Then proceeded to the search of information with the use of qualitative methods.The results stand out the fact that the program of this subject does not bring the elements needed for the professor to structure the Teaching- Learning Process. In case of teachers, although they know the intentionality of the program, there are still difficulties in the methodological construction of the assimilation of concepts. The students on the other hand in a general way recognize the need of the statistical concepts in the profession, although the level showed in the solution of problems through them is low. Abstract (Spanish): La contabilidad ayuda a la toma de decisiones gerenciales durante la planeación y el control de las operaciones administrativas. Ella se apoya en la estadística para organizar la toma de decisiones administrativas. El papel de esta ciencia dentro de la Contabilidad resalta el valor de la asignatura Estadística, en especial la asimilación consciente de los conceptos, en la formación del Técnico Medido en esta especialidad en el centro politécnico "Frank País García" del municipio de Guane. Tomando como base lo anterior, se procedió al estudio del estado de la asimilación consciente durante la formación del Técnico Medio en Contabilidad. En el estudio se tuvieron en cuenta: el currículo, el profesor y el alumno. Una vez definidos los constructos fundamentales, se usó una metodología mixta secuencial que permitió la captura y procesamiento de la información empírica. En ella se aplicaron primero los métodos cuantitativos y, seguidamente, se procedió a la búsqueda de explicaciones de los mismos con el uso de métodos cualitativos. Los resultados obtenidos destacan que el programa de la asignatura no aporta los elementos necesarios para que el profesor estructure el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. En el caso de los profesores, aunque conocen la intencionalidad del programa, se aprecian dificultades para la estructuración metodológica de la asimilación de conceptos. Los estudiantes, de forma general, reconocen la necesidad de los conceptos estadísticos en la profesión, aunque el nivel mostrado en la solución es insuficiente. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
