Abstract: A case study is presented of an infant born to a 28-year-old gravida 2, para 2 mother. Diagnosis of mother with gestational hypertension in triage; maternal urine drug screen showed positive for cocaine and opioids and developed neonatal abstinence syndrome. Further she was treated of hyperphagia in a full-term neonate due to neonatal abstinence syndrome.
