| Abstract: | The article informs that the Association for Library Collection and Technical Services of the American Library Association (ALCTS/ALA) has collected preservation statistics from 1984 until 2008 on disasters from libraries and other cultural heritage foundations. The study found that 72% of institutions had experienced disaster incidents with the ALCTS. |
