| Abstract: | The article provides tips on how online instructors can promote transparency in making student assignment descriptions. Particular focus is given on the Transparency in Learning and Teaching (TILT) in Higher Education project, an educational development and research project that supports the faculty on the implementation of a transparent teaching framework for college students' success. It also outlines the requirements for TILT which include purpose section, submission and grading criteria. |
