Abstract (English): This research is the result of the systematization of research carried out in the Socio cultural Studies and Sociology studies of the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences of our ins titution, socialized in different spaces of scientific debate about how and under what conditions fr om the perspective of gender have been inserted young women in the labor scene attending to the transformations of the political, economic and social life that is being lived in today's Cuba in rura l and urban contexts in the municipality of Pinar del Rio.In this case, the focus of science, technology and society was taken as a reference for the analysis. Abstract (Spanish): La presente investigación es el resultado de la sistematización de investigaciones realizadas en las carreras de Estudios Socioculturales y Sociología de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanísticas de nuestra institución, socializada en diferentes espacios de debate científico en torno a cómo y en qué condiciones desde la perspectiva de género se han insertado las mujeres jóvenes en el escenario laboral atendiendo a las transformaciones de la vida política, económica y social que se está viviendo en la Cuba de hoy en contextos rurales y urbanos en el municipio de Pinar del Río.
