Abstract (English): Approximately 48 km long, the Maranguapinho River is one of the main rivers in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, with some 9,422 families living in areas at risk of occupying land parcels unfit for human habitation. In this perspective, we intend to analyze the land use and occupation relations between the Bonsucesso and Granja Portugal districts based on the field analysis, vector and matrix data, and previous studies. It is considered that the anthropic action is the main modifier of the landscape causing also an environmental imbalance that discharacterizes the area of study. As a counterpart in this situation, the public power seeks to revitalize the region, so that it can be recovered in both the environmental and urban / social aspects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Con cerca de 48 km de extensión, el río Maranguapinho es uno de los principales ríos de la Región Metropolitana de Fortaleza, poseyendo en sus márgenes cerca de 9.422 familias que viven en áreas de riesgo por ocupar parcelas territoriales impropias para la vivienda humana. En este sentido, nos proponemos analizar el uso de las relaciones y la ocupación entre el barrio de Bonsucesso Granja y Portugal a partir de los datos de análisis de campo, vectoriales y raster, y los estudios realizados con anterioridad. Se considera que la acción antrópica es la principal modificadora del paisaje causando también un desequilibrio ambiental que descaracteriza el área de estudio. Como una contrapartida en esta situación, el poder público busca revitalizar la región, de forma que pueda ser recuperada tanto en lo que se refiere al ambiental como al urbano / social. Abstract (Portuguese): Com aproximadamente 48 km de extensão, o rio Maranguapinho é um dos principais rios da Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza, possuindo em suas margens cerca de 9.422 famílias que vivem em áreas de risco por ocuparem parcelas territoriais impróprias para a habitação humana. Nesta perspectiva, pretende-se analisar as relações de uso e ocupação do solo entre os bairros Bonsucesso e Granja Portugal a partir das análises de campo, dados vetoriais e matriciais, e de estudos já realizados anteriormente. Considera-se que a ação antrópica é a principal modificadora da paisagem causando também um desequilíbrio ambiental que descaracteriza a área de estudo. Como uma contrapartida nesta situação, o poder público busca revitalizar a região, de forma que possa ser recuperada tanto no que se refere ao ambiental quanto ao urbano/social.
