Abstract (English): The present investigation entitled The senses of the educational formation in the degrees of the Technological University of the Chocó «Diego Luis Córdoba» -UTCH-, Colombia, aims like general objective to reveal the senses of the educational formation that conform the students of the degrees in Languages (Spanish and Literature, and English and French) of the Technological University of Chocó «Diego Luis Córdoba» -from now on, UTCH-, about the oral traditions and the regional linguistic variations of the Spanish language. From the pedagogical point of view, the theorical support of the thesis welcomes the proposal by Freire (1979, 2001 (a)a, 2001b, 2007, 2008 (a), 2008b, 2009). To give an account of the communicative component, the contributions provided by Ong (1987), Baena (1989a 1989b) are privileged. At the methodological level, the type of qualitative research is accepted, with a sociolinguistic approach applicable to teacher training from the experience, Labov (1966,1972,1983) and Areiza (et al.) (2004, 2012); As information gathering techniques, life histories are counted, in the form of training stories in the framework of discussion forums and analysis of UTCH documents. Abstract (Spanish): La presente investigación titulada Los sentidos de la formación docente en las licenciaturas de la Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó «Diego Luis Córdoba» -UTCH-, Colombia, pretende como objetivo general develar los sentidos de la formación docente que configuran los estudiantes de las licenciaturas en Lenguas (Español y Literatura, e Inglés y Francés) de la Universidad Tecnológica del Chocó «Diego Luis Córdoba» -en adelante, UTCH-, en torno a las tradiciones orales y a las variaciones lingüísticas regionales de la lengua castellana. Desde el punto de vista pedagógico, el sustento teórico de la tesis acoge lo propuesto por Freire (1979, 2001(a)a,2001b, 2007, 2008(a), 2008b, 2009). Para dar cuenta del componente comunicativo, se privilegian los aportes suministrados por Ong (1987), Baena (1989a. 1989b). A nivel metodológico, se acoge el tipo de investigación cualitativa, con enfoque sociolingüístico aplicable a la formación docente desde la vivencia, Labov (1966,1972,1983) y Areiza (et al.) (2004, 2012); como técnicas de recolección de información se cuenta con las historias de vida, en la modalidad de historias de formación en el marco de foros de discusión y análisis de documentos UTCH.
