Abstract (English): This document contains some general observations about the report on primary education in English elementary schools in 1967. This report is known by the name Plowden, the name of the person who presided. This report is of great interest in the psychological and educational aspects of people and emphasizes the importance and relevance of the first school lessons of children over the entire educational process of individuals. Plowden's report is important to understand, in order to have a theoretical foundation of the same strategies and active teaching methodologies that are under investigation in several countries of Latin America and in general, also in several countries of the modern world. Abstract (Spanish): Este documento contiene algunas observaciones generales acerca del reporte sobre educación primaria en escuelas primarias inglesas del año 1967. Este reporte se conoce por el nombre Plowden, nombre de la persona que lo presidió. Este reporte es de mucho interés en los aspectos psicológicos y educativos de las personas y enfatiza la importancia y relevancia que tienen las primeras lecciones escolares de los niños sobre todo el proceso de formación educativa de los individuos. El reporte Plowden es importante comprenderlo, para poder tener un fundamento teórico de las mismas estrategias y metodologás didácticas activas que se encuentran en proceso de investigación en varios países de América Latina y en general, también en varios países del mundo moderno.
