Abstract: The article deals with a study of U.S. academic libraries' responses to the Covid-19 pandemic with particular focus on librarian views on changes in services and relationships. Topics discussed include the resiliency and creativity of librarians which helped them transition to online-only reference and instruction and the benefits of the introduction and use of virtual reference services before the pandemic.
