| Abstract (English): | The article analyzes the experience of a couple of teachers from Segovia during the democratic transition in Spain. It is based on the testimony of these educators and uses the biographical-narrative method to analyze their initial training, how they experienced the political changes in their professional career, and how the transition affected their teaching methods. The study reveals challenges such as the lack of resources and training tools available. Topics such as initial training during Franco's regime, the influence of the democratic transition on teaching methods, and the lack of coordination in schools are mentioned. Despite the problems, there were changes in educational content and improvements in teacher qualifications during the transition. Se basa en el testimonio de estos docentes y utiliza el método biográfico-narrativo para analizar su formación inicial, cómo vivieron los cambios políticos en su carrera profesional y cómo la transición afectó sus métodos de enseñanza. El estudio revela desafíos como la falta de recursos y herramientas formativas disponibles.
