Abstract: An editorial is presented on supporting re-opened schools across the world in providing comprehensive services promoting wellbeing and psychosocial support. Topics include addressing the wellbeing of the students and teachers rather than simply focusing on effective teaching and learning; and exploring South African primary school foundation teachers' perspectives on the factors contributing to childhood adversity.
