| Abstract (English): |
The article presents research on environmental education training for sustainable development aimed at the guides of the Pioneer Explorers Movement in the municipality of Manicaragua, Cuba. Training needs are identified and specific objectives are proposed to address these needs. A content system is established and training actions are designed, including practical evaluative activities. The article concludes that environmental education and the role of teachers are fundamental in shaping citizens committed to protecting the environment, and constant training is suggested to improve this process. El artículo presenta una investigación sobre la capacitación en educación ambiental para el desarrollo sostenible dirigida a los guías del Movimiento de Pioneros Exploradores en el municipio Manicaragua, Cuba. Se identifican las necesidades de capacitación y se proponen objetivos específicos para abordar estas necesidades. Se establece un sistema de contenidos y se diseñan acciones de capacitación que incluyen actividades prácticas evaluativas. El artículo concluye que la educación ambiental y el papel de los maestros son fundamentales para formar ciudadanos comprometidos con la protección del medio ambiente, y se sugiere una capacitación constante para mejorar este proceso.
