Abstract: An introduction to articles in the issue is presented on topics including the use of mixed methods research (MMR) in providing a more complete research story of interventions for students with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), empirical report on the extent to which MMR studies have been published in two of the EDB field's most prominent journals, and cost associated with the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports.
