Abstract (English): The present study analyzes the impact of service-learning (ApS) on the motivation of translation students. The results indicate that ApS enhances students' motivation in different academic, personal, professional, and community aspects. The importance of the role of teachers in stimulating students' motivation is highlighted, and it is mentioned that the implementation of comprehensive learning strategies and an appropriate methodology are fundamental. Additionally, service-learning is presented as a potentially motivating methodology that allows students to feel comfortable and play a central role in community service projects. Abstract (Spanish): El presente estudio analiza el impacto del aprendizaje al servicio (ApS) en la motivación de los estudiantes de traducción. Los resultados indican que el ApS potencia la motivación de los estudiantes en diferentes aspectos académicos, personales, profesionales y comunitarios. Se destaca la importancia del rol del profesorado en estimular la motivación de los estudiantes y se menciona que la implementación de estrategias de aprendizaje abarcadoras y una metodología adecuada son fundamentales. Además, se presenta el aprendizaje-servicio como una metodología potencialmente motivadora que permite a los estudiantes sentirse cómodos y desempeñar un papel central en proyectos de servicio a la comunidad.
