Abstract (English): Taking into account the few works that have analyzed the impact of bilingual education on the teaching of Social Sciences, this research, conceived as a case study, investigates it from the perspective of teachers and students of the third cycle of Primary Education. From a nonexperimental quantitative approach, a questionnaire has been administered to students (n = 75) and teachers (n = 7) of a bilingual primary school in the province of Almería (Spain) in order to better understand this reality in a specific context. The results reveal the lack of specific training and didactic resources, the difficulty, in some cases, for students to fully understand the social content addressed in another language, and certain obstacles to introducing critical approaches such as controversial issues. The main conclusion is that it is necessary to improve teacher training, increase materials for bilingual teaching, and better address the diversity present in the classroom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
